This restaurant has become one of our favourite places to go in Burlington. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so nice! From the moment you sit down they already have tea for you. One thing weve never figured out is that they give you 1 less menu than the amount of people in your group. But it all works out. The food is absolutely delicious and everything you need is at arms reach at your table. I highly reccommend the medium rare beef soup (101.). It may be one of the most delicious soups on earth..! They have hundreds of menu items to choose from too. I highly reccommend visiting this restaurant in the near future! Read more

Closing soon

We've been here a number of times and we've always enjoyed our meals. It's standard mom and pop diner fare, and priced right. The service has always been friendly and efficient and they know alot of their regulars by name. On our last visit, the service was slow, but it was a Sunday and the place was packed. There was just one server when we arrived, so we were ready for a wait. She did her best to keep up with everyone and knew the order when all of the tables were sat. We will be back again! Read more

So, good. The food was delicious, though not gastro-pubby, but rather pub grub. It could use new carpeting throughout. The stand out for us was the service. Our server was helpful, knew the menu inside out, and when we asked for some changes to make one of the meals heart healthy they went out of their way to make it happen. We were seated in a quiet corner...easier for my Dad that he didn't have to climb up a step...but there was loud laughter coming from around the corner. Everyone seemed to be greeted by name at the door. Our server was a nice young girl, but everyone paid attention to us, helping to deliver the meal, checking on how we liked our meals. I worked all through college as a waitress, and I am kind of picky about service attitude, and this was wonderful. Read more

We go there every year. Service is always great. Food is always good too. The chili on the hotdogs were nice & spicy. The fries were just right. It does get a little busy, sometimes you don't always get a seat inside and they don't have debit, cash only. But still, it's a landmark and we'll always continue to go back. Read more

I attended Montana's Cookhouse with my Brother and Girlfriend last week and expected good quality food and service. I expected it because Montanas Cookhouse i widely recognized and I have also attended it before and loved it. I suggest coming here for a dinner or lunch because you receive great food for a low cost. When you go to Chaps you have to get the wings!!!! They are the best but you have to get the saucy ones with hot sauce. My family will go every birthday or special occasion because we love it and I have been going to Chaps since I was about 4 years old I am 21 now.
